For investors
The thesis, the discipline, and exactly how far along we are.
Everything on this page already exists elsewhere on the site, sourced from the same product and strategy documents as the rest of it — assembled here in the order an investor actually reads it, rather than the order a shopper does.
Why now
The spend already exists. The proof doesn't.
Roughly ₹43,000 crore of Indian MSME digital advertising flows every year to platforms that cannot prove anyone walked through a door. Nearmedeals can — because a merchant confirms every redemption at their own counter.
Roughly 90% of Indian commerce is unorganised retail. Yet many digital platforms are not designed around the needs of small, independent merchants. Nearmedeals changes that by giving every merchant access to a free plan from the moment they create a profile.
That figure is advertiser spend specifically, not a claim about the whole deals-and-services category — we would rather be precise about scope than round up.
Both figures above are our own market-sizing estimates, built into the product and market strategy documents this site is sourced from — not statistics from a named external publication. Treat them as our working assumptions, not independently verified data.
The wedge
A neighbourhood fills up before a salesperson arrives.
Every competitor waits for merchants to opt in, which leaves new areas empty and produces the chicken-and-egg trap that kills hyperlocal platforms. Nearmedeals doesn't wait on that — a neighbourhood can already be worth opening before a single merchant has been sold to.
Category norm
Merchant-only supply
How this resolves it
A new area can have something real on it before a merchant sign-up sheet exists
Execution discipline
We score every candidate city before we touch it.
The same weighted criteria, applied identically to the first city and the fiftieth. The model itself is part of the conversation we have with anyone evaluating this seriously — ask.
Before any demand spend
A meaningful minimum of live offers, across several categories, per pincode — shared on request, not published
Supply density precedes demand spend. Always.

QR acceptance already normal at the counter
Competitive whitespace
No entrenched local-deals player

Where we actually are
Built and working. Not yet switched on.

Now
Nothing left on this list is a new feature. It is the practical groundwork of switching on for real.
- Get everything running on real, secure servers
- Finish locking down every layer of account and data protection
- Turn on real payments and text-message verification
- Set up round-the-clock monitoring, so problems get caught immediately
- Run full safety and reliability checks before anyone real uses it
What this page doesn't include
No funding ask, no cap table, no data room — on purpose.
This site's own content rules block anything that isn't sourced from the product or strategy documents — which means we won't improvise a funding narrative here just to fill the section. Who's building this is on the About page — for the cap table context or the data room, that happens by talking to a person, not by reading a page.
Nothing on this page is an offer or invitation to subscribe for or purchase securities of NearMeDeals Services Private Limited, or an invitation to invest. Market figures are our own estimates, not third-party data, and statements about future plans are not commitments.
