The deal is real. The shop is around the corner.
Nearmedeals is a mobile app for discovering offers and services from shops and providers within walking distance of you.
Every offer is live, in stock, and redeemable right now — and the shopkeeper confirms it at the counter when you arrive, so nothing is ever "expired" when you get there.

Who we are, in short
Four answers, sixty seconds.
If you read nothing else on this site, read these. Everything after is detail.
Nearmedeals is a hyperlocal commerce network for India’s neighbourhood shops and service providers. We show people the offers and services available within walking distance of where they are standing — and we make each one provable, because it is confirmed in person, not just claimed online.
- 01What is it?
A hyperlocal commerce network for neighbourhood shops and service providers.
You see the offers and services available from real shops and providers within walking distance of where you are standing right now.
- 02Who is it for?
Shoppers, local businesses, and the neighbours who spot deals.
Four groups, one network: people buying, shops selling, scouts posting what they find, and operators keeping it honest.
- 03How does it work?
You claim a code. The shopkeeper scans it at the counter.
That scan is what completes the redemption — and it is the moment that unlocks your review or a dispute.
- 04Where do I use it?
Two mobile apps. One for shoppers, one for businesses.
Every operation happens in the apps. There is no web sign-in, and this site is here purely to explain what we do.
The problem
The internet indexed the world and skipped the shop at the corner.
Every neighbourhood already has good offers. They are chalked on a board, mentioned by a neighbour, gone by evening. Two people lose out at the same time, for opposite reasons.
We are not competing with another app. We are competing with a memory — the coupon that expired, the discount the shop denied, the “deal” that was never real.
The structural difference
Everyone else waits for shops to sign up.We let the neighbourhood go first.
This is the trap that kills hyperlocal platforms: a new area is empty, so shoppers leave, so no shop can see a reason to join, so the area stays empty. Nearmedeals breaks the loop from the other end.
A neighbour spots it
Someone photographs the board outside the bakery and posts it with the location and price. It passes moderation and enters the local feed. Nobody has signed a contract.
Cost to acquire this offer — effectively zero
It becomes an official deal
An operator converts the post into a real merchant deal in one action. It enters the normal approval queue. The shop is notified. So is the person who spotted it — and their post keeps a badge saying it became official.
Shoppers see value on day one. That traffic is the only argument a shopkeeper has ever needed.
Six ways this is not the same product
Every claim below points at code that exists.
A marketing page can assert anything. These are the six differences the product specification itself names, each with the mechanism that delivers it.
A neighbourhood fills up before a salesperson arrives.
Every competitor waits for merchants to opt in, which leaves new areas empty and produces the chicken-and-egg trap that kills hyperlocal platforms. Nearmedeals doesn't wait on that — a neighbourhood can already be worth opening before a single merchant has been sold to.
The category norm
Merchant-only supply
How ours works
A new area can have something real on it before a merchant sign-up sheet exists
One network, three domains
More platform than the word “deals” suggests.
Deals, services and community finds — three things working together end to end, each backed by smart search, rewards and safe payments behind the scenes.
Deals
LiveHelp businesses attract more walk-in customers with live, verified offers that shoppers can redeem instantly.
Merchants publish real, time-bound offers with live stock counts. A shopper claims one with a code and a QR, and the shop confirms it at the counter — so every redemption is a genuine walk-in.
Services
LiveConnect customers with trusted local service providers through enquiries, quotes, and bookings.
Browse listings or post what you need and get quotes back from nearby providers. Book a time slot, and once the job is done, you confirm it yourself — with a simple way to report a no-show.
Community
LiveBuild a neighbourhood-powered discovery network where great local finds become verified opportunities for everyone.
Neighbours post the good offers they spot, before any merchant has signed up. Posts are checked before they go live, and the ones that prove popular can be turned into official deals.
For shoppers
Everything you can see is open, in stock, and walkable.
The feed is filtered before you ever see it. Expired offers are retired nightly. Stock counts down as people claim. If your area is quiet, the search widens rather than handing you an empty screen.
- Distance-sorted results from your GPS, or an area you set by hand
- Plain-language search — describe the problem, not the category
- A public trust score on every shop, deal and service
- Disputes with a refund path if something goes wrong

For services
Need something done? Ask, get quotes, book it.
A plumber, a salon, a clinic, a tutor — the jobs a neighbourhood needs done are not always a deal, they are a request. Describe it, get quotes back from providers actually nearby, book a slot, and confirm the job yourself once it is done.

For businesses
Free to start. Subscribe as you grow.
Not per impression. Not per click. Not a cut of what you sell. You pay for the plan you are on, billed monthly — what a customer does or doesn’t redeem never changes what you owe that month.
Free to start, always
Creating a profile assigns a free plan automatically.
No card, no sales call, no trial clock. Move up to a paid plan only when your shop genuinely needs more. You run the whole thing from the merchant app on the phone already in your pocket — there is no separate dashboard to keep a laptop open for.

For deal scouts
Being the person who knows the area should count for something.
You already know which bakery discounts at closing and which salon is quiet on Tuesdays. Post it. It reaches your neighbourhood, it climbs you up the contributor leaderboard, and when it proves itself an operator turns it into an official deal — with your name still on it.
Your neighbourhood knowledge has value — and it earns you credit for it.

Underneath
The quiet promises that hold everything else up.
Location, freshness, safe purchases and trust are the four things a neighbourhood marketplace cannot get wrong. Here is what holds each of them up.
Location you can trust
Distance is measured for real, not guessed at.
- Every shop, deal, service and community post is tied to a real place on the map.
- That means what shows up near you is actually near you — not just somewhere in the same city.
- If your neighbourhood is a little quiet, you can widen the search radius yourself in a couple of taps, instead of being stuck with an empty screen.
Deals that are always current
An expired deal cannot survive the night.
- Every deal has a clear time window, a live stock count, and a limit on how many times one person can use it.
- Once a deal sells out, it is marked sold out immediately — no waiting for someone to notice.
- Anything past its date is taken down automatically, every night, without anyone having to remember to do it.
Every purchase is protected
Built to work safely, even on a shaky connection.
- Payments and redemptions are built so a dropped signal or an accidental double-tap can never count a redemption twice.
- If two people try to act on the same thing at once, the system safely rejects the outdated one instead of letting both go through.
- Confirming a redemption or updating your rewards balance happens safely, one at a time, so nothing gets double-counted.
How we are launching
Three pincodes. Not a city.
A hyperlocal marketplace fails at the first empty feed. Before a single rupee of consumer acquisition is spent in any pincode, that pincode must already hold a genuinely useful spread of live, valid, walkable offers across several categories — not a token handful. The rule applies identically to the first pincode and the five hundredth.
A city-wide launch produces impressive-looking numbers and a feed that is empty wherever you happen to be standing. We would rather three neighbourhoods work properly.
The rule before any spend
A meaningful minimum of live offers, across several categories, per pincode — shared on request, not published
Supply density precedes demand spend. Always.
Questions
The ones worth asking.
Including the direct ones — pricing, launch cities, and how we handle your data.
Read every answerWhen you claim a deal, the app gives you a unique code and a QR code of your own. Nothing is final until the shopkeeper scans that QR or types the code in their own app — that is the moment your redemption is confirmed. It is also the moment that unlocks your right to leave a review, or open a dispute if something went wrong.
Pre-launch
That is who we are, and what we are building.
If you want to go deeper, start with the platform. If you would rather just tell us where you are so we know which neighbourhood to open next, the door is open.
